Professional Commercial and Regional Airline Flight Attendant Training

The professional flight attendant must master a broad range of knowledge and skills to perform successfully in today’s demanding aviation environment and FlightSafety has developed a complete training program to help meet these needs. This program has been developed to train each client to proficiency and combines both classroom and hands-on training.

The flight attendant curriculum includes clearly defined objectives and lesson plans to ensure the required material is presented in a methodical, detail oriented sequence yet clearly formatted to maximize comprehension. In addition to the Initial and Recurrent Flight Attendant courses, we also offer courses on Emergency and Survival, Crew Emergency, Fire and Water Training, Passenger Emergency, servsafe, and American heart association training. Additionally, a new Ab Initio Flight Attendant Training program has recently been created for those wanting to enter the demanding field of Flight Attendants.

FlightSafety, the world’s largest private aviation training company, delivers the same standards of excellence to comprehensive Flight Attendant training that we bring to our professional Pilot and Maintenance Technician training. Those standards include effective classroom and practical training technologies and devices and are taught by highly experienced, professional instructors. Your training benefits from our 60 years of aviation training and the experience gained each year training more than 75,000 aviation professionals.

All Commercial Flight Attendant courses are offered at our Atlanta Learning Center and Crew Emergency Training and Flight Attendant Transition courses are also offered at our Paris Learning Center.

If your ambition is to become a commercial flight attendant then FlightSafety’s new Ab Initio Flight Attendant Training is designed for you. This program provides candidates with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully complete training for any airline. It introduces candidates to the duties, responsibilities and foundational subjects that flight attendants need to know prior to attending training at an airline. The completion of this course indicates that candidates have reached the level of proficiency needed to master the tasks necessary for a position as a flight attendant.

  • Independent Study - Each candidate must complete an Independent Study Workbook prior to attending class. An average of 18 hours is required to complete the independent study segment. This independent Study prepares the candidate for the entrance exam prior to attending the Practicum segment.
  • Academic - The courseware includes an industry-recognized curriculum compatible with flight attendant ground school subjects required by regional, national and international carriers.
  • Practicum - The training conducted during the practicum utilizes full-scale flight attendant training aids, such as aircraft cabin mock-ups, an aircraft fire trainer with a live fire and water landing training in a water environment. In addition, the candidates gain hands-on experience with actual emergency and survival equipment. This segment requires the candidate to correlate theoretical training by demonstrating practical responses to typical situations faced by a flight attendant.
