David Davenport

David joined FlightSafety in 1996 as Assistant Manager of the company’s Learning Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. After that, served as Director, CAA Training, at FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach, Florida.

He was named Assistant Manager of the Atlanta Learning Center in 1999. David became Manager of the Savannah Learning Center in 2005 where he oversaw the day to day operations, marketing, sales, human resources, business development and relationship management with Gulfstream Aerospace.

David was named Regional Operations Manager in 2007 with the responsibility for all Gulfstream Learning Centers worldwide. He was promoted to Vice President in September 2012 and then to Executive Vice President, Commercial.

He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1982 with a Bachelor’s degree in business management. After the Air Force, he worked for Computervision Corporation as a Manufacturing Engineer and then was the Executive Director of the Florida Division of American Flyers.

Currently, David serves as President of the Wings Club Foundation. He is also a member of the National Business Aviation Association Board of Directors and serves on the Board of Governors of Corporate Angel Network and the USO of Metropolitan New York.
