Bell Helicopter - Program Updates


FlightSafety's Bell 212 and 412 Simulators Upgraded

FlightSafety’s Bell 212 and Bell 412 simulators, located at the DFW Learning Center, have received several upgrades that have enhanced client training.  Both simulators received upgrades to the visual systems, offering an even higher fidelity in the visual scene when flying.  Additionally, the cockpits were refurbished and the courseware updated.

New Surviving Inadvertent Instrument Meteorological Conditions Course

This course is available for the Bell Helicopter and Airbus Helicopter programs at the DFW Learning Center located at the DFW Airport.  When weather conditions unexpectedly and rapidly obscure your view, it’s critical that you have a sound and well-practiced strategy to maintain the safety of your aircraft. Decisions made in the first pivotal moments can decide the outcome. FlightSafety’s Surviving Inadvertent IMC course gives you the tools you need to react appropriately. Share procedures and experiences with other pilots and our knowledgeable instructors in an interactive environment that encourages participation. Master best practices for the safest responses to inadvertent IMC. Learn successful strategies to ensure that flights conform to plan and don’t exceed training or equipment. Instruction stresses human factors such as decision-making and breaking the error chain.

New and Improved Helicopter CRM Course

This new CRM Course is available at the DFW Learning Center located at the DFW Airport.  Improvements to the course include an updated presentation and a new look.  In addition, this course will soon be available online in a synchronous format taught by the best instructors in the industry.  This gives you the flexibility to take the course in the comfort of your home, office or hangar, saving travel time and expenses.
