New Combined PW615 and PW617 Line and Base Maintenance Course

The PW615 and PW617 engines are solid performers in the Very Light Business Jet market.  Coming soon, technicians will benefit by attending a combined PW615/PW617 Series Line and Base Maintenance course. This 4-day course provides a comprehensive ATA Level 3 program covering both platforms and will be EASA and CASA approved.

New PW814 (Gulfstream G500) Online Training And Line And Base Maintenance

FlightSafety International will be conducting Engine Maintenance Training courses for the PW814 Engine. Online General Familiarization ATA 104 level 1 training courses will be released in the first quarter of 2017 followed by our PW814 Line and Base Maintenance Instructor Led Training ATA 104 Level 3 course in Q3 2017. This course will be Transport Canada and EASA approved and will be offered at our Gulfstream Learning Center in Savannah, Georgia.

New Training Location in Brazil - Aeroglobo

FlightSafety International has selected Aeroglobo to provide Pratt & Whitney Canada engine training in Brazil. Located in Botucatu, the facility will offer a wide range of P&WC engine courses to meet the specific needs of the customers in the region. These courses will be delivered in Portuguese to better serve the Brazilian market.

OMP (Operational Maintenance Practices) Courses PT6A and PW300

The PT6A Series OMP Course is now available and offered as a new elective within the popular Master Technician – Engine program. It focuses on Engine Operationally Oriented Problem Solving Scenarios. This course is designed to develop and evaluate the technician’s abilities from “Write-Up” to “Release-to-Service”. Problem solving and troubleshooting begins immediately after the course introduction. This course is recommended for skilled technicians with a thorough working knowledge of the engine systems.  The PW300 Series OMP course will be available soon for reservations at the locations noted on the Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Training page.

Pratt & Whitney Canada APU Training Now Available

FlightSafety International is now conducting P&WC APU/APS training. Available in Montreal, Paris and Singapore, we offer 11 line and base maintenance theoretical courses. Turbo Shaft Update For The PT6C-67 Series Engine Maintenance Courses

The PT6C-67 engine is growing in popularity and has received a new variant, the PT6C-67E Engine powering the new Airbus Helicopter EC175.  FlightSafety International has incorporated the PT6C-67E engine into our General Familiarization and Line and Base Maintenance Training courses which are now available.

Updated P&WC ECTM Engine Condition Trend Monitoring Available Via LiveLearning

The updated P&WC ECTM Engine Condition Trend Monitoring instructor-led course is now available via LiveLearning. Enjoy the benefit of live interaction with our knowledgeable instructors with the convenience of training from any computer worldwide with an internet connection.  Applicable for all P&WC engine models, this course covers the fundamentals and skills necessary to produce, manipulate and analyze the ECTM graphs in order to monitor engine performance. This is demonstrated using the WebECTM and new CAMP EHM platforms.
