Riad serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for FlightSafety International. He is an accomplished business, technology, and information security leader known for building mature and resilient security programs. His 25-plus years of experience in both Information Technology (IT) and cybersecurity encompass a span of organizations and disciplines.
Prior to joining FlightSafety, Riad was the global CISO for Grant Thornton International where he developed a security strategy and program spanning 140 firms across the globe. Prior to that, he spent several years in security compliance leadership roles. He credits his strong IT knowledge to years of hands-on technical positions early in his career.
Riad attended the University of Wisconsin Whitewater as an engineering student. He later transferred to Madison College for a degree in Information Technology. Riad maintains a Certified Information Security Management (CISM) certification from ISACA.
