FlightSafety International designs, manufactures, and integrates the highest quality and most advanced simulation products in the world. FlightSafety leverages decades of experience and world class engineering and manufacturing capabilities to provide a powerful suite of innovative products. Controlling all aspects of the product suite allows FlightSafety to attain unmatched vertically integrated excellence among all products. Fully Integrated Training is a theme across FlightSafety’s suite of products, tying the training experience together across platforms to empower both instructor and user.
Our extensive investment in research and technology pays dividends for our Customers whether they are in the commercial, military or government sector. That begins with the FlightSafety-developed and manufactured FS1000 full flight simulator. The FS1000 outperforms current generation simulators in virtually all aspects. Its lightweight and highly robust modular design offers added configuration flexibility and ease of systems integration.
That technology combines with the FlightSafety International visual system to provide unprecedented training realism. The VITAL 1100 Image Generator provides rich and robust content ranging from airport/heliport environments to full LVC/DMO tactical and mission rehearsal. Our CrewView all-glass mirror displays complement that detailed scene content with crisp, bright, high contrast and distortion free collimated images. MATRIX, our innovative suite of flight training tools, leverages all components to bring integrated simulation-driven training to the classroom and advanced task trainers.
Additional industry-leading technology includes new products such as our MissionFit Training Device, Evolution 360 Dome, and Mixed Reality Flight. A worldwide database of visual scenes and expansive set of moving models are also available.
Our Level D-qualified full flight simulators support advanced audio, motion and visual capabilities. We build them to meet the industry’s highest standards. They provide a realistic environment for duplicating every phase of flight. Built at our state-of-the-art 375,000-square-foot facility in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, our simulators allow airline and military customers to offer highly effective, cost-efficient training to their flight crews.
FlightSafety’s integrated learning system – MATRIX – brings the realities of the Level D simulator experience into the classroom and to other training devices. MATRIX consists of the DeskTop Simulator, Integrated Courseware and Graphical Flight-deck Simulator. This innovative suite of flight training tools features shared applications and graphics.
MissionFit is an ideal choice for customers seeking a low-cost training device for ground school, Systems Integration Training (SIT), avionics familiarization and limited flight training. MissionFit is a technological advantage to accompany any training program and can be deployed in virtually any location, including offices, conference rooms, Fixed Based Operations (FBOs) and military bases.
The VITAL visual system is at the heart of an advanced-technology flight simulator. The VITAL visual image generation and display systems deliver unprecedented fidelity for a wide variety of uses with full flight simulators and a complete range of other advanced training devices. VITAL provides pilots with the out-the-window and sensor information needed to simulate aircraft operations and real-life missions. Well over 600 airport scenes are available in the VITAL visual worldwide database library to support your training needs as well as extensive mission rehearsal areas and an expansive moving model library.
Providing superior optical performance and sharper image clarity, our CrewView all-glass mirror displays offer significant advances in fidelity and field of view. Their modular design produces the largest field of view available – up to 300 degrees horizontal and 60 degrees vertical. CrewView fills the entire aircraft window, eliminating ground rush distortions and allowing the greatest level of effectiveness in training.
FlightSafety Mixed Reality Flight offers an affordable, immersive training experience that enhances and accelerates pilot and crewmember training in a variety of learning environments, as well as operational and tactical scenarios. The mixed reality experience, available for delivery through a mixed reality headset integrated with FlightSafety’s VITAL 1100 Visual System, better prepares students to progress more rapidly through live instruction courseware, training and simulator time.
FlightSafety’s Mixed Reality Explore enables users to visualize and interact with detailed 3D models in front of their eyes, from virtually anywhere. This allows the user to explore complex subjects and material – examining every aspect and intimately learning how things work.
FlightSafety’s Evolution 360 Dome Display is the latest in our direct-view projected displays. It provides a 360-degree field of view, the ultimate simulator experience. Its extremely large field of view is an effective tool for specialized training, including fast jet, tactical rotary wing and other applications.
FlightSafety offers the most comprehensive Worldwide Database Library in the industry. It contains more than 600 airports and heliports modeled to support both fixed-wing and rotary-wing training, as well as mission rehearsal and tactical combat scenarios This database provides the most accurate and highly detailed library for aviation training, and also includes an extensive library of commercial moving models and expansive library of LVC/DMO ready military models.
FlightSafety’s Commercial VITAL Subscription service provides customers with the entire robust airport/heliport library that FlightSafety’s own Learning Centers enjoy as well as VITAL software updates.
FlightSafety’s Display Management System (DMS) provides comprehensive calibration and control for multi-projection display systems. This is more than just an alignment system – it is a fully integrated piece of the FlightSafety solution. In addition to alignment, DMS offers display control, scenario management, and system performance metrics. It is the most complete packages in the industry.
We offer a full range of support services to our Customers. These include upgrades and modification to installed flight simulators, visual system upgrades and replacements, cockpit systems upgrades to reflect aircraft fleet changes and updates driven by regulation changes, such as the Directive 2 changes to the FAA CFR-14 Part 60.
