Business aviation was in its infancy when FlightSafety started offering training back in 1951. Most flew in military planes converted to civilian use and, unlike commercial pilots, weren’t required to undergo formal training. The purpose-built business jet was still more than a decade in the future. We dedicated ourselves to this fledgling industry, believing the best safety device in any aircraft is a well-trained crew. Six decades later, we still do.

Today, we operate facilities around the globe, training pilots, maintenance technicians and other aviation professionals from 154 countries. Conduct more than a million hours of training each year. Engineer and manufacture advanced technology flight simulators, visual systems and displays. Our instructors are the best, most experienced in the business. They use our 300 simulators every day to train those who operate business, regional and military aircraft built by the manufacturers we proudly support.

Yet some things haven’t changed over the years. And never will. We remain committed to enhancing aviation safety around the world. Training is more than our business. It’s our mission.

On behalf of all FlightSafety Teammates, thank you for the privilege of serving you.
