That's my story and FlightSafety's story, so far. Thank you for your polite attention during the telling. I'm not sure I have fulfilled my responsibility as a Wings Club Sight lecturer, but I am sure I am done. This has been my longest speech ever, and I am relieved more than you can know that it is ending. Speaking here today is a way of honoring all those wonderful, giving people who have made my life and my career so rewarding.

I am grateful to the officers, members and guests of the Wings Club for this special opportunity to give my thanks for those many, many people in my life who are so deserving of it. I am honored by your invitation and by your attendance. I am a lucky man indeed.
